Nick was born in Chicago, IL on Jan 14, 1982. At the age of 2, his family move to Bridgewater, NJ where he lived in the same house till High School. He spent his free time playing sports (soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf), running school clubs, and growing as a leader in the Boy Scouts. In 2000, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Nick went to Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN from 2000-2004 and received a Bachelor of Science majoring in Management and minoring in Management Information Systems. Outside of school, he participated in 3 different fraternities: social, business, and honor. He was also awarded best fraternity President in 2002.
After college, Nick moved to Chicago, IL trying to find his path in life. He worked for various companies such as Chase Bank, Apple, and the Chicago Bulls. During his free time, he tried stand-up comedy and improv. In 2011, Nick became a DJ/Emcee where he rocked Chicago weddings and cruise ships’ dancefloors around the world.
In 2015, Nick decided to feed his passion for service by moving to Denver, CO to join the Colorado Air National Guard as an Aircraft Maintainer on F-16 jets. From 2017-2019, he attended the University of Colorado Boulder where he receive his Master’s in Business Administration focusing on Entrepreneurship and Marketing. In 2020, Nick became the Director of Operations for a Private Equity software company. His operational excellence and leadership skills advanced him to the CEO of 3 software companies. The companies involved leading 12 employees covering 6 different countries while serving hundreds of customers.
During the pandemic and currently, Nick leads a weekly entrepreneurial event, mentors entrepreneurs, and volunteers in various ways to support the planet. Looking to make an impact in Denver, he joined the Leadership Denver program through the Denver Metro Chamber to learn more about Denver. Passionate about helping the unhoused, he volunteers weekly to provide water and trash services to the unhoused through Headwater Protectors. In addition, he is a member of the Sustainability Advisory Council of Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency Zero Waste committee which provides zero waste solutions to the city of Denver.
